Service Description

As a registered nurse/midwife and trained in trauma-responsive practice, I offer client-centered sessions where YOU determine the format and approach. As a guide, you can use this appointment to: - discuss or debrief in-depth about your experience - have an objective, trained maternity care professional respond to your experience - receive assistance understanding what happened, or understanding medical records - be guided on your pathway to recovery, optimising your health and the possibility of post-traumatic growth - discuss decision-making and planning about potential conception, pregnancy, birth and/or baby in a safe and secure way - receive extra, professional support during a subsequent conception, pregnancy or postpartum period - or, speak to me about your needs, wishes or preferences regarding your consult *These sessions are not therapy and do not replace therapeutic services*
